Our Mission Statement The Monocacy Cigar Lodge are a group of folks who have come together and over the last few months decided to collectively pull our resources together to establish a means to 'puff together' at hours that may or may not agree with the local businesses.

The Monocacy Cigar Lodge is dedicated to the enjoyment of a fine cigar and good conversation with fellow cigar lovers. We will conduct activities to enlighten fellow cigar enthusiasts and help folks understand how to appreciate a good cigar. We are in a 'marathon' and not a 'sprint' when it comes to building members. We will strive to become a solid organization with diverse attitudes on all elements related to the Cigar... (kind of makes us Aficionado – Wanna be’s ! )
Seen above is the start of the MCL, a sunny day in Frederick MD, reading the proposed bylaws. Membership levels: - Founders Membership: Furture Plans for Membership levels will be announced and levels will be finialized by the board only after we have grown to a sufficient membership level to establish a location similar to the amenities listed in our vision. The Maryland Clean Indoor Air Act will not prohibit the opening of The Monocacy Cigar Lodge if:
INFORMAL MEETINGS:
The Goal is to establish a permanent location to meet and smoke our favorite cigars. In the meantime we like to patronize the local Cigar Establishments.
(1) The Cigar Lodge is closed to the PUBLIC
(2) The Cigar Lodge does not have any EMPLOYEES
(3) The Cigar Lodge does not sell FOOD
(4) The Cigar Lodge does not have an ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE
(5) MCL does not SERVE Alcoholic Beverages.
