Our Mission Statement
The Monocacy Cigar Lodge is dedicated to the enjoyment of a fine cigar and good conversation with fellow cigar lovers. We will conduct activities to enlighten fellow cigar enthusiasts and help folks understand how to appreciate a good cigar. We are in a 'marathon' and not a 'sprint' when it comes to building members. We will strive to become a solid organization with diverse attitudes on all elements related to the Cigar... (kind of makes us Aficionado – Wanna be’s ! )
- The Monocacy Cigar Lodge are a group of folks who have come together and over the last few months decided to collectively pull our resources together to establish a means to 'puff together' at hours that may or may not agree with the local businesses.
- We are a in the process of being established as 501(C)(7) Non-Profit Organization registered in Delaware
- We support our local cigar vendor, and agree that if it wasn't for his business we would never have all met.
- Our Club is dedicated to the enjoyment of a fine cigar and good conversation with fellow cigar lovers.
- We do not promote or condone the use of tobacco products, use is strictly up to the individual.

The Monocacy Cigar Lodge Vision This is a group of "Cigar Enthusiasts" from the Frederick County, Maryland, Membership levels: - Founders Membership: $50.00/year to support the Non-Profit Status of the Club Furture Plans for Membership levels will be announced and levels will be finialized by the board only after we have grown to a sufficient membership level to establish a location similar to the amenities listed in our vision. The Maryland Clean Indoor Air Act will not prohibit the opening of The Monocacy Cigar Lodge if:
We envision our Members will be able enjoy the luxurious surroundings of a Private Cigar Club. Members will be able to relax and escape the intolerance and militancy of the anti-smoking crowd while fostering the camaraderie of others who share their enthusiasm for fine cigars.
Members can bring their own snacks and beverages. We will plan for a small kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave oven. Members will be able to relax over conversation in the Lounge, have a private meeting with a client, surf the internet with WiFi, read a book, catch up on some work, watch television on 42 inch flat screens, and even enjoy a game of pool. All these are the goals of the club. We will incrementally build up the ammenities.
The Monocacy Cigar Lodge is a Private Club, a sanctuary, where people craving the satisfaction and pleasure of a fine cigar can meet in a hassle free environment. Relax, fire up a fine cigar and take in the atmosphere of a very special place. No one is going to bother you at The Monocacy Cigar Lodge.

(4) The Cigar Lodge does not have an ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE
(5) MCL does not SERVE Alcoholic Beverages.

INFORMAL MEETINGS:
Each Saturday (1pm approx) at our Local Cigar Merchant in Urbana, Md. Please rememeber to purchase a cigar each time you come out ! We typically patronize the Davidus Cigar Lounge in Urbana, MD. We are not affiliated with any commerical business, but really appreciate the Lounge, since it is how we met in the first place!
